Event details
We open the season with Mala Dharana, as devotees begin their 42-day vratam. Guruswamis will place the mala and guide first-time Swamis.

What to bring
- Your mala (rudraksha or tulasi) if you're wearing one, and black, blue or saffron clothes.
- First-timers: read the Vratam and Mandalam FAQ beforehand, and arrive by 7:00 AM for the start of the Puja
- Dakshina for the priest after wearing the Mala, as is traditional.
- Flowers or fruits for the puja, if you'd like to offer them.
